The history of the Trulli
Trulli are ancient conical dwellings, born in past centuries in the magical land of Apulia. Built without mortar, these charming stone shelters carry with them an aura of mystery, with domed roofs adorned with enigmatic symbols. Once used as rural dwellings or agricultural shelters, trulli are silent witnesses to a bygone era, shrouded in the charm of local legends and traditions.
The Annalocos Trulli, with their whiteness blending harmoniously with the vibrant colors of nature and its most genuine scents, represent a unique place. Here, each stone tells a story of love for the land, peace and connection with the natural environment.
Annalocos was born from Anna's project to recreate a place where the boundary between nature and construction is increasingly absent, in the same style as the ancient Apulian peasants with their early rural buildings. The Annalocos trulli, built back in 1900, present a structure organized into 3 rooms and 8 cones, renovated in 2012 and opened to the public in 2016. Trulli annalocos offers its visitors an opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city with direct contact with nature and Anna's kindness, welcoming all visitors with a welcome basket of typical Apulian flavors.
